FiveFilters.org at Medialab Prado
The FiveFilters.org project started as a proposal to explore the five filters of the propaganda model. It was accepted as one of nine project to be developed during Interactivos? at Medialab Prado in 2009.
How it started
The project started off as a proposal to explore the five filters of the propaganda model in an interactive installation. Eventually we focused on the creation of an application to scan physical newspaper clippings and offer related news stories from non-corporate sources.
A prototype was developed and exhibited at Medialab-Prado in Madrid, Spain for Interactivos 2009. More information on how the project developed is archived here.
We have since created a cut-down version to run in a web browser: Explore Independent Media.
