We finally have Push to Kindle available in the Apple app store. Push to Kindle is our service for converting web articles into ebooks and delivering them to your Kindle account. It allows you to read web articles on your Kindle device or your Kindle app. We also support Pocketbook’s similar service (if you’ve enabled delivery to a pbsync.com account).
We’ve been recommending our Push to Kindle email service for iPhone and iPad users. It allows you to send articles via the iOS share-by-email feature. We’ve had many requests for a dedicated iPhone/iPad app, and we’re happy we finally have one.

Due to Apple’s naming requirements, we weren’t able to list it as Push to Kindle and had to name it Push for Kindle for the app store.
Please note that we are not abandoning the pushtokindle.com email service. It will continue to operate, so if you’re happy sending that way, there’s no need to switch to our app.
Any feedback (good or bad) is very much appreciated. Especially if you have trouble using the app.
It’s also worth noting that the official Amazon Kindle app for iOS devices offers its own Send to Kindle feature. The way articles are processed is different between our app and Amazon’s, and in our recent tests, we couldn’t actually get the articles we sent via the Amazon Kindle app to appear in our Kindle library. The same articles worked fine with our Push to Kindle app. We’ll write more comparing the two options in a future post, but for now we suggest you try Amazon’s offering first. If it works for you and you’re happy with the result, there’s no need to buy our app.
